Formability of Thin Steel Sheets Coated with Anodized Aluminum
Hušek, Martin ; Suchánek, Jan (referee) ; Spišák,, Emil (referee) ; Dvořák, Milan (advisor)
Thesis deals with the design of the technological process of anodic oxidation (creating elox coating) on aluminium film in the system steel-aluminium-elox, with the findings of characteristics of this system, comparing with the contemporary knowledge and practical utilization of this system in practice. My thesis in the teoretical part describes creating of anodic oxidation (elox coating) and the process of bending and stretching the sheet. Theoretical aspects of interaction among elox finish, process of bendings and process of stretching are implemented in the experimental part and they are supported by identified knowledge and results. The practical part is focused on improving adhesion, designing and constructing a multifunctional bending product for testing resistance of the finish applied on a tested product. Under the terms of determination distributing deformation and tension in bended coated plate, this plate is tested by statistic analysis with the help of the Finit Element Method (FEM) in the programme ANSYS. The experimental part compares discovered results of each experiment in the system steel – aluminium – elox with the results of aluminium plates with elox finish, stainless plates and steel plates with aluzinc.
Analysis of Language and Structure of the Three Czech Translations of the Poem Jabberwocky from the Book Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There by L. Carroll
Nývltová, Martina ; Bozděchová, Ivana (advisor) ; Macurová, Alena (referee)
The thesis is about the poem Jabberwocky from the book Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There by L. Carroll and its three Czech translations - Žvahlav by J. Císař, Tlachapoud by A. and H. Skoumal and Hromoplkie by V. Pinkava. The theoretical principles of translating are summarized at the beginning of the thesis. The emphasis is on the aesthetic function of translation. The main part of the thesis is a detailed analysis of language of the original poem and its translations, from the linguistic levels. The discoveries are summarized in the conclusion. The conclusion also gives the evaluation how exact the translations are.
French Lexical Borrowings in Conterporary Bulgarian Language
Georgievová, Jana ; Gladkova, Hana (advisor) ; Nisheva Nikolova, Bozhana (referee)
This Bachelor thesis is focused on lexical items of French origin in contemporary Bulgarian language. These items are being analyzed lexically, phonetically, morphologically and semantically, this analysis shows their adaptation and assimilation process into the Bulgarian language system. Historical, social and cultural causes of French lexical borrowings in Bulgarian are part of the research as well. Language material of the research is based on the Bulgarian dictionary of foreign words (Пернишка, Е. и кол. Речник на чуждите думи в българския език.Наука и изкуство, София 2007).
Study Of Effect Of Organic Additives On The Morfology Of Zinc Deposit
Smejkal, Jan
Article studies effect of the selected organic additives on zinc deposit properties in relation to negative electrode for Ni-Zn battery. All additives were examined with emphasis on the study of dendritic and mossy structure growth suppression. Additives have been selected in order to their already known benefits for Ni-Zn cell and in order to their using in galvanic production. Additives were examined by XRD diffractometer Rigaku Miniflex 600 HR and electron microscope Tescan Vega 3 XMU.
The use of molecular-biology methods (QRT-PCR) and immunocytological methods (flow cytometry and immunocytochemistry) for the detection of minimal residual disease in neuroblastoma
Grüncveigová, Veronika ; Vícha, Aleš (advisor) ; Daňková, Pavlína (referee)
With a continuous development of molecular-biology methods more attention has been paid to molecular detection of minimal residual diseases in solid tumors. In our study we focused on detection of MRD in neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is one of the peripheral neuroblastic tumors (pNTs) that accounts approximately for10 percent of all childhood cancers. The question raised however not answered until this day is whether evidence of MRD in bone marrow may be used as independent prognostic factor in diagnosis of neuroblastoma. Furthermore, it is important to establish what kind of testing technique should be used and what values to look at. There exist various methodologies in detection of MRD evidence in neuroblastoma. These methods differ in cost and complexity, but mainly some of them are more specific and sensitive than the other. Cancer cells may be detected in the blood as well as in the bone marrow. Very often it is the bone marrow that is affected by the metastasis in neuroblastoma, therefore 85% of all high risk neuroblastomas show positive results in the standard cytomorphology tests of bone marrow. Low numbers of cancer cells in bone marrow or peripheral blood (especially during or after the end of treatment) are below the standard values of detection limit in most of the classic methodologies...

The influence of corticosterone and corticoliberin on damage of the hippocampus and their relation to cognition
Řezáčová, Lenka ; Mareš, Pavel (advisor) ; Mejsnar, Jiří (referee) ; Šusta, Marek (referee)
Dissertation "The influence of corticosterone and corticoliberin on damage of the hippocampus and their relation to cognition" deals with the cognitive, behavioral and histological changes in experimental rat strain long-evans that closer describe the consequences of long-term continuous application of corticoliberin and/or corticosterone. Testing of the behavioral changes was divided into two phases. The first one - within three or fourweeks respectively administration of these hormones, therefore until their early effects - and the second phase - after four weeks of completion of the first phase at the time of the possible late effects. In the twelfth week the experimental animals were killed and in the group which had exogenously elevated corticosterone, the morphological changes in the hippocampus were monitored and measured. In all experimental groups alteration of behavior was observed. Histological and morphological changes in the brain we have found. Layout of experiments in two testing phases allowed differentiation of the early changes and the late and persistent changes. The arrangement of experiments allowed the choice of tests to compare not only individual effects of both hormones (corticoliberin and corticosterone) but also their coactioning and biological responses to them. Using a wider...
